Picking, labels
and dispatch.

From an ingested order to a tracked parcel and a channel that knows about it.

Orders from every channel land in the same workspace with their items, addresses and payment status attached. From there the path is the same regardless of where the order came from.

The dispatch path

  1. Pick — orders are grouped into pick tasks that walk the warehouse in location order rather than order order.
  2. Pack — confirm contents and package dimensions. Weight and size decide which carrier services are eligible.
  3. Label — generate the label from a connected carrier account, or record an external tracking number if you bought postage elsewhere.
  4. Dispatch — mark dispatched. Huup pushes carrier and tracking to the channel and the order moves to shipped.

Channel-specific dispatch requirements

Some channels demand more than a tracking number at dispatch. Huup collects what the channel needs at the point of dispatch rather than failing afterwards — for example OTTO Market expects a German return-label tracking number alongside the outbound one for parcel deliveries.

Carrier names are not free text. Channels only accept carriers from their own list. Huup restricts the carrier field to values the channel recognises, so a dispatch is not rejected over a spelling difference.

Returns

  • Returns announced by the channel flow into Huup automatically, with their reason codes.
  • Accept or reject from one screen. On most channels accepting triggers the buyer refund on the channel side.
  • Returned stock goes back to available only when you receive it, not when the return is announced.
