Connecting
a courier.

Bring your own carrier accounts so labels are bought at your rates, not someone else's.

Huup does not resell postage. You connect your own carrier accounts and labels are generated against your contracted rates.

Adding a carrier

  1. Open Integrations → Shipping and add the carrier you hold an account with.
  2. Enter the credentials the carrier issued you. These are stored encrypted and are only used to buy labels and read tracking.
  3. Set the services you want available at dispatch and, if you ship from more than one site, which warehouse each account belongs to.
  4. Generate a test label to confirm the account works before relying on it in a live picking session.
Ship-from address matters. Labels are stamped with the dispatching warehouse's address. If that address is incomplete the carrier will reject the request — fill the address in the warehouse record rather than at label time.

When a label request fails

  • Authentication failed — credentials expired or were rotated on the carrier side. Re-enter them and try again.
  • Service unavailable for destination — the chosen service does not cover that country or postcode; pick another service.
  • Address rejected — the recipient address failed the carrier's validation. Correct it on the order and retry.

Carriers receive the recipient's details only for the order you are shipping, on your instruction, and act as independent controllers for that data. See the Data Processing Agreement for the detail.
