● Customer story

Wimbledon Trade
left two tools behind.

A UK van and truck parts seller with 12,000 SKUs, six years of Linnworks history and no appetite for downtime. The move happened over one weekend.

● Before Huup

A catalogue held together by hand.

Nothing was broken enough to stop trading. Everything was slow enough to cap how fast the catalogue could grow.

Two systems

Listings in one tool, shipping in another

Linnworks held the catalogue and Linnworks alone decided what was in stock. ShipStation printed the labels. Every question that crossed the two — why did this oversell, where is this parcel — was answered by hand.

Compatibility

Two hours of fitment data per SKU

Van and truck parts only sell if the buyer can confirm they fit. Building eBay Motors compatibility meant assembling vehicle lists SKU by SKU — the single biggest brake on listing new stock.

Six years of data

Nothing could be thrown away

Order history, supplier pricing, channel mappings and open purchase orders had accumulated since the business started. A migration that lost any of it was not a migration.

● The migration

Friday night to Sunday morning.

“We had 12,000 SKUs on eBay UK, six years of Linnworks data, and zero appetite for downtime. Huup migrated us between Friday night and Sunday morning. We didn't lose a single order.”

● The constraint that moved

Fitment stopped being the bottleneck.

“We sell trim and body parts for vans. Before Huup, building eBay Motors compatibility was a 2-hour job per SKU. Now one click does 8 vehicles, and equivalents catch parts I'd never have listed.”

● After

One workspace, eight channels.

The catalogue, the stock pool, the orders and the supply chain now live in the same place — and the two subscriptions that used to hold them are gone.

Migration 12,000 SKUs moved in 36 hours

Friday night to Sunday morning, with orders still flowing. No downtime was scheduled and none was needed.

Compatibility One click covers 8 vehicles

Fitment is applied from the vehicle database instead of assembled by hand, and equivalent-part matching surfaces vehicles the team would not have listed manually.

Channels Eight marketplaces, one catalogue

The same product graph and the same stock pool feed every channel. Adding a channel is a connection, not a second catalogue to maintain.

Stock One stock pool, no overselling

Stock changes propagate to every connected channel as they happen, so the number a buyer sees is the number in the warehouse.

Supply Vendors and dropship in the same flow

Six vendor partners and four dropship suppliers are routed from the same orders workspace — the warehouse and the supplier see the same task list.

Cost Two subscriptions became one

Linnworks and ShipStation were both retired. The operation runs on a single platform with a single bill.

“We've been with Huup for a year. Sales replies in under an hour, support answers in real time on Slack. The team feels like an extension of ours — we ping them and we ship.”
