Prepare your Etsy shop
- Make sure you have an active Etsy shop with at least one published listing.
- Confirm your shop is set up to accept Etsy Payments (required for order ingestion).
- If you sell personalised items, make sure your personalisation fields are configured in Etsy — Huup imports them automatically.
Connect Etsy in Huup
- Sign in to app.huup.com.
- Open Integrations → Marketplace, click Add New Marketplace, pick Etsy.
- Click Connect to Etsy. A popup opens to Etsy — sign in and authorise Huup. You'll be redirected back automatically.
- Huup imports your shop info, listings (including personalisation fields), and the last 30 days of orders.

Common issues
"Authorisation failed" after the popup
Make sure you signed in to the Etsy account that owns the shop you want to connect. Shop owners and shop admins both work; non-admin team members do not.
Personalisation fields not appearing on orders
Personalisation fields must be configured in Etsy's listing editor (the "Personalisation" toggle). Re-sync the listing from Catalog → Listings → Etsy → Sync after enabling.
Orders not coming through
Allow up to 10 minutes after first connection. Check Activity → Health — if Etsy API shows Unhealthy, contact support.
Stock changes not reflected on Etsy
Check the listing's last sync time in Catalog → Listings → Etsy. Etsy's API has lower rate limits than Amazon — bulk SKU changes are queued and may take a few minutes to flush.
Token expired notice
Etsy OAuth tokens expire periodically and Huup refreshes them automatically. If you see a token-expired banner, click Re-connect and walk through the popup once more.
