Customers
across channels.

The same buyer, arriving through three marketplaces, recognised as one person.

Why unify at all

Marketplaces each give you a fragment of a buyer. Unified customer records let you see order history and open conversations in one place when someone contacts you — instead of searching three portals while they wait.

What a customer record holds

  • Name and delivery addresses as supplied by the channel.
  • Contact details, which on many channels are a channel-issued alias rather than a real address.
  • Order history across every connected channel.
  • Message history, where the channel exposes messaging.
Aliases are deliberate. Several marketplaces issue a masked email that relays to the buyer. Huup keeps the alias rather than trying to resolve a real address — using it outside the order is a policy breach on most channels.

Retention

Buyer personal data is held only as long as the originating channel allows, and the shortest applicable window wins. Deletion runs on a schedule rather than on request alone; the commercial record of the order survives, the personal data in it does not.

What Huup does not do with it

Buyer data is not used for Huup's own marketing, not sold, and not used to train models. It is processed to run your orders, on your instruction. The Data Processing Agreement is the binding version of that sentence.
